We may call Times Square home, but our production team spent New Year’s Eve (And day. And night.) in Williamsburg, where the real party was just getting started as the big ball was coming down. SWP designed, implemented and produced NYC’s most talked about fete, transforming a 64,000 warehouse in Brooklyn into an electronic and performance wonderland for an 10,000 guest, 24-hour New Year’s bash.
The main bash, dubbed “The Compound”, started at 6:00pm and featured a mix of top DJ’s from across the globe, including Pierce Fulton, Bassjackerz, and Denis Koyu. The event was headlined by the over the top duo from Sweden, Dada Life. Crowds went crazy the as the DJ’s threw their signature banana and champagne balloons through the crowd. The after hours show, which ran started at 4:00am featured artists from the Cadenza Records label and was headlined by Luciano. Party-goers not only had the artists to be excited for, as the venue hosted a large number of performance artists. A fully service bar and VIP are for bottle service was full throughout the entire event. For those who got hungry during long event, Brooklyn’s own Roberta’s brought own their traveling pizza oven.
